The Greek Islands
I have been traveling to Greece every year since I was young, and over the years I learned how to swim across bays, count until 10 in Greek and name the days of the week, cook a few dishes and inhabit a few of the Greek qualities, such as the combo of hard work and lots of rest, or feta cheese and delicious dough. In Greece, I don't need anything. I only wear one white linen shirt over my bathing suit, and the other ten outfits I pack stay folded in the suitcase. Painting, swimming and cooking replace scrolling, traffic and stress. Time runs differently, and nature is the star of the show.
